May The Fourth be in You!
Did you know May 4th is The Rooster's birthday? No wonder he has that gift of extraterrestrial force within his fingers, right? Pascal Fouquet (like bouquet 😉) will be ... hmmm ... 42? 52? 62? 102? You'll have to scroll down for clues. It's been a surreal month for me since the passing of my Dad. One insight that keeps me smiling is simply that, he smiles through me. He was an amazing man and of all the qualities he passed on to my brother's and me, I inherited his smile and "joie de vie". Another realization is he wants me to feel good when I think of him, so I'm working towards that. Thank you to everyone who's reached out with their condolences, they're greatly appreciated. On another note, we were featured in this article by Ruby Jackson, an Otterbein University journalism major. The theme of the magazine was "Outlaw Music" and she chose us to represent. It was a fresh and rich interview. Thanks Ruby! (One correction to the article, it was my Dad who had a great collection of Blues cassette tapes.) Curious now, check it out here ... (link)

Our new album “7”, is uploaded to our distributor, the CDs are being sent to us and the songs will begin rolling out May 9th. YES!
"Same Old Blues" released April 11th and it's doing pretty good. We're on Joe Bonamassa's Spotify Playlist which you can check out here. While you're there, why not follow us and like the track! 3,474 streams on Spotify so far, radio play and lots of Shazams, not to bad.
I'm beginning to design a souvenir magazine for our collaboration with Bobby Floyd and The Frenchies. It will be full of the basics, lyrics, credits, photos in the studio and also some fun stuff like stories about the process from all the artists involved. Dive deeper into the music as you stream away. If you have any burning questions for any of the artists, be sure to send them to me asap and I'll see if I can accommodate! I'll let you know when they go on sale!
